ASSOCIATE
Accounting
This two-year program builds heavily upon solid accounting principles and tax procedures, and relates their application to all forms of business. The relationship of accounting, information processing and management combined with general studies and specialized business courses, prepares the graduate for highly specialized accounting and management positions in the business world.
Architectural Computer Aided Design
The objectives of the Architectural Computer Aided Design Drafting program are to develop in the student the skills and understanding necessary to create technical drawings for the design and construction of a variety of architectural disciplines. The use of computer aided design drafting and related equipment is an integral part of this curriculum. Upon completion of this program, the graduate will be able to demonstrate all the skills outlined in the Certificate in Drafting program; understand basic design principles through the use of physics, statics, strength of materials and mathematics; develop engineering drawings with minimal supervision; develop architectural designs utilizing space planning and volumetric principles; understand the principles and design process involved in foundations, framing, residential and commercial construction; utilize a computer aided drafting system for technical drawing and design production.
Business Office Management
The purpose of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Office Management program is to prepare the graduate with techniques needed to direct an office staff. Training in basic office procedures is combined with human resource and data management skills to enhance the graduate's administrative ability. This associate degree program combines education specific to the business field with practical training. Qualities that are useful in business management careers are developed and enhanced by this curriculum. They include computer technology, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, balanced judgment, understanding of human behavior, and leadership abilities. Graduates of this program will be prepared for jobs in entry level office management.
Civil Computer Aided Design
The objectives of this program are to equip students to produce and reproduce technical drawings and sketches. Graduates will have skill in proper drafting equipment usage, technical graphic line generation, lettering, orthographic projections, basic drafting standards, and basic math skills.
Computer Engineering Technology
This program is designed to first provide graduates with a solid background in electronics and then progress to advanced product-specific training on routers and switches associated with both Local Area and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN). Students will learn: AC/DC theory, electronic troubleshooting, upgrading, and maintaining microprocessors and complex networks. Students will also be prepared to attempt certifications including A+, CET and several soldering certifications.
Computer Graphic Design
Upon completion of this program, the graduate will be able to develop a variety of professional publications, documents and imagery utilizing manual skills and sophisticated computer equipment and software. Employment opportunities include advertising agencies, print houses, art studios, and large corporations.
Electronic Engineering Technology
The objectives of this program are to train students to acquire skills and demonstrate competence in installing, adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, testing and designing circuitry in electronic equipment, devices, and systems.
Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist
Students will learn to transform verbal descriptions of diseases, injuries, and procedures into numerical designations. Students review rejected claims and prepare for re-submission. The course prepares the students to apply for the national coding certificate at the apprentice level. Employment opportunities include multi-physician practices, clinics, insurance companies, consulting firms, and medical billing companies.
Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
This highly specialized program educates students to perform diagnostic procedures at the request of the physician to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiac disease. Graduates of this program will be eligible to take the National Credentialing Examination (RCIS). Depending upon background, students will also be required to sit for the Basic Science Examination administered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).
Mechanical Computer Aided Design
This program will enable students to create technical drawings for the design of a mechanical equipment, accessories and related devices. Graduates will be able to demonstrate all the skills outlined in the Certificate in Drafting program and will be able to utilize a computer aided drafting system for technical drawing and design production.
Medical Administrative Management
This program trains individuals with the skills to efficiently and effectively handle both routine and emergency situations. Graduates of this program will come in contact with patients, doctors, other medical staff, suppliers, and medical organization.
Medical Clinical Specialties
A combination of the Medical Assistant, Limited Medical Radiography, and Phlebotomy programs, this program prepares the graduate with the skills necessary to perform clinically in a physician's office or other medical facility, including obtaining quality laboratory specimens, perform x-rays, handle the administrative duties, assist patient care, examinations, and perform appropriate medical procedures.
Medical Laboratory Technician
In order to prepare students to become clinical laboratory technicians, this program provides a foundation of knowledge and skill necessary to function in a modern, highly technical medical laboratory setting. Upon completion, students will be prepared to apply for a national certification examination.
Nursing
In order to meet the needs of people in all stages of health and illness throughout the life cycle, this program integrates advanced principles from the biological, psychological, physical, and sociological sciences. It will also prepare the student to take the Registered Nurse Licensure Exam.
Radiologic Technologist
This program prepares students to perform the duties of an entry-level Radiologic Technologist. They will assist the radiologist in providing a high level of radiologic technology expertise to patients in hospitals, clinics, extended care facilities, nursing homes, and other organized health care settings.

Health Unit Coordinator
Health Unit Coordinators work at the nurses' station in health care facilities, coordinating the non-clinical activities, clerical, and support functions related to patient care. This program will teach students how to transcribe physicians' orders, schedule diagnostic tests and treatments for patients, manage the patients' charts, and maintain unit supplies.
Limited Medical Radiography
Graduates of this program are prepared to perform x-ray (radiographic) examinations in clinics, physicians' offices, dentists' offices, public health institutions, and urgent care centers. Students acquire the skills to prepare patients for radiographic examinations by explaining the procedure and ensuring proper positioning of both the patient and the radiographic equipment.
Massage Therapy
The purpose of the Massage Therapy program is to prepare the graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience to be employed in the massage therapy field.
Medical Administrative Assistant
This program teaches written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and a provides thorough understanding of medical terminology. Opportunities for graduates of this program are available in hospitals, doctors' offices, medical clinics and laboratories, health management organizations, and insurance companies.
Medical Assistant
This program trains students to handle administrative duties, assist in patient care, perform appropriate medical procedures and take the Certified Medical Assistant exam of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). The medical classes are taught by registered nurses and laboratory technicians in small, intimate classes. Clinical, on-the-job training also is a unique feature.
Medical Coding Specialist
This program trains students to analyze medical records, assign codes to indices of diagnoses and procedures and provide information for reimbursement purposes. Students will be qualified for employment in physicians' offices, clinics, hospitals, and insurance companies.
Medical Transcriptionist
In this program, students will learn how to use the transcribing machine to accurately transcribe a physician's surgical and diagnostic reports and physical exams. Practical Nursing

CERTIFICATE
Drafting
The Certificate in Drafting prepares graduates for entry-level jobs as drafters and other related positions. The objectives of this program are to equip students to produce and reproduce technical drawings and sketches. The graduate will be able to demonstrate skill and knowledge in proper drafting equipment usage, technical graphic line generation, lettering skills, orthographic projections, basic drafting standards (either architectural, civil or mechanical), and basic math skills necessary function as an entry level drafting technician. In addition, the student will develop and use these skills utilizing computer aided drafting equipment and software.
Phlebotomy
This program will make you a crucial part of the medical team with the skills necessary to obtain quality laboratory specimens in a variety of medical settings. As a graduate, you will gain the technical knowledge and skills required to pass the certification exam and work in a hospital, clinic, or physician's office.
